A CLASSIC...NO COLLECTION SHOULD BE WITHOUT
I was very enthused about this Brazilian bossa nova classic when it first arrived on our shores and purchased the LP as soon as it hit our record shops (Yes, I am that old). The rhythms and melodies were fresh to the ear and to the soul. As years went by, based upon this first purchase, I began collecting more of this genre and, over the years, had the good fortune to visit Brazil many times to hear various artists first hand. No collection should be without this seminal recording and many others I could recommend. GO FOR IT!!!

Might be great, depending on ???
Our first copy of this SACD was wonderful, our go-to SACD for demonstration and for enjoyment. This copy, while it looks exactly the same, doesn't sound nearly as good. No idea why. We experienced the same thing on the first disc of a 2-CD set of "The Beatles Naked."

It is okay with me.
This is an old recording. I didn't expect too much although it is re-mastered in SACD format. When I compared it with the recording I made from my Lp, I still think lp sounds better.
