Great Economic Guitar...
This is a great instrument. I have been playing guitar for 38 years and have played, and owned many. I own some pretty nice Martins , a high end Takamine , a Breedlove Oregon Concert , as well as some other good acoustic guitars. I purchased this FG 830 after I seen , and played one at Guitar Center. I had seen some great reviews on it. After playing it I was impressed with the workmanship, the finish, the playability, the intonation, projection, and sound. This guitar sings loud and clear. It's projection is better than any other guitar I own. Truely a great sounding guitar. The neck is nice but, not the feel of my Martins or the Breedlove, for me. Others may love it though. I picked up a blemished model for 100 bucks. Definitely the best $100 instrument I've ever owned. It's well worth the full asking price of $300. Great Guitar. No set up was done.
I just got a guitar I bought from these guys and the guitar was in fine condition but it did not play well at all. I realized the action was extremely high. I took it to my local guitar shop and found that it needs to be set up. I bought it from these guys because they claimed to do a professional set up in house before they ship it. This was not done. Its costing me an extra 75 bucks to get an “actual” professional set up done. So if your buying from them because of a set up already done dont count on it!
