A great trip back in time
This movie is gorgeous to look at it is beautifully shot. The story is funny and engaging. The sets and props are amazing. This old 80s throwback is a great walk down memory lane with a young Uma Thurman and the endearing and adorable Crispin Glover among others make this film fun.

Engaging and heartfelt
It's one of the entertaining movies I've ever seen, because all the actors in it hold your interest, regarding all the situations they have to deal with throughout the movie. A few of them are actors that you still see in movies today, like Uma Thurman, and the redheaded girl who plays the granddaughter of "old Rose" in Titanic. Dabney Coleman is always good to watch too. There's no reason at all not to buy this movie. You'll be entertained, and will feel happier by the time the movie ends. :):):)

A great, fun, and artistic movie
This is a most delightful comedy. I have had a VHS for years and years, but when the VCR finally died I went for the DVD. If you like creative art based upon classic, historic painters then you'll adore this film.

Dark, artistic, comical
I'm an artsy kinda person so this show was awesome to me as the characters expressed their arts through their struggles. A good laugh as well.

Funny and charming movie about family
A quirky and totally delightful movie about three free spirited adult children of a staid businessman who tosses them out of home for “ their own good” and the results are hilarious.
