Product Information

A slum landlord from Hell, Louie (Joe Pesci) has left his tenants living in squalor for years, but he's about to get a taste of his own medicine. Slapped with housing code violations, he has been sentenced to live in one of his own tenements until repairs are made; unfortunately the real boss is Big Lou, Louie's racist dad who refuses to pay the bills and advises him to torch the place rather than make it livable. But after finding himself himself tormented by rats, overflowing toilets, and his fellow tenants, who are delighted to see the landlord living in this condition, Louie begins to sympathize with the plight of those whose quality of life he has ignored for so long.

Joe Pesci at one of his best!!!!
I remember seeing this movie when I traveled to Chicago in late 1991. I was 21 years old. I laughed so hard. I have this on VHS and I have been looking for this on DVD. Glad to have found it. Great picture and sound. Love it. Awesome.

Entertainment Joe style with flair
Although many who reviewd this film felt Joe deserved a better script, I really like the film. It's enjoyable to see Joe act in a different type role.

Well written movie
Not a politicaly correct movie by some deep thinkers,but in the times that were in it is necessary to get a piece of humor when we can.
