Quality, Small, Simple and Affordable
I have this in my single cab pickup powering (2) JL Audio 12WX Subs and I don't think I could be happier. It's quality it sheer JL all the way, love its compact design and super easy install. Since it's a mono block there is no need to bridge, just land each 4 ohm sub on the amp to bring the amp to a 2 ohm load and get a clear 500 watts when the vehicle is running (14.4vdc). Won't find this quality of wattage for $200 anywhere else. If your like me and desire clean wattage over cheap high wattage this amp is for you. I can't stand when people have large distorted bass because of cheap equipment. But to each their own some people just want to make noise. JL audio has always been one of my top brands they have never made anything I wouldn't recommend even after all these years I have been installing car audio (15+ years). Great amp for a 13tw5-3!
The amp is small which is helpful for my application in an 07 f250 crewcab. It is manufactured in China which I'm not sure if JL's higher end stuff is or not but seems solid and well made. I have this hooked to a Jl 13tw5-3 in a Tacoma stealth box (YEA IT FIT THE FORD) it's 3ohm which made it difficult to find an amp and of coarse none of my amps would due. Great sound quality amp just alil pricey for 500rms @2ohm but it's has perks from 12-16 volts it put out the same rms so if you have stock electrical and want a punchy amp that's guaranteed to do rated on stock electrical this amps perfect..so A+ for thatBestätigter Kauf: Ja

Mislead..
I received a amp today that was supposed to be something minor or maybe a little worse. Pictures made reference to stripped out set screws. But when I opened the box I could immediately smell that the amp was fried. If you know something is burnt up. Just say it’s burnt up.
