Cast is a classic
If for no other reason than to hear Ethel Waters sing Stormy Weather and A Man Called Joe, this would still be a classic. To have this much talent, filmed during hard times for black Actors is a joy to own. I am old enough to remember going to the theater to see this film, Tho we were segregrated, everyone enjoyed the film.

Awesome Black Cinema!
I've always wanted a DVD of this film....for the time this was created...what a fantastic cast musicproduction!
