    Item was extremely well packed and arrived with due care, island is exactly as was described and works with no issues, unfortunately mole seemed to have escaped from main parcel but seller did find the vehicle and sent out to me right away, all received with no issues or problems, truly genuine seller great communication definitely would business with again 😁😁👍🏻

    Arrived on time and in very good condition. Really fast despatch and at my address within 60 hours after having had the winning bid on via the eBay auction and even with postage this was still excellent quality and value for money. Exactly as described and well packaged with very minimal minor box damage caused in transit but no damage to the contents. Although a week past expiry date at time of submitting this, that only applies to the medical industry, so still perfect for lighter based tasks.

    Now back to running like a new one.

    In great condition considering its age. Yes it has its marks and scratches but this just adds to the look of the thing. Has needed a few repairs (a leaking boiler/firebox rivet) but again considering it’s age expected. After repair and oiling now runs like a new one and is very entertaining (and educational) to the grandchildren. A great investment.

    Great little engine

    Great mamod engine, arrived swiftly, well packed and with everything needed to fire it up. All worked well and made a great birthday present for my 12 year old son.

    Mamod review

    I like this Mamod because it is everything that is listed in the tell us more part of this review, ie. it is quite dur able because it is made of metal. I also find steam its self quite entertaining when I see anything powered by steam running. It is educational because a Mamod is live steam, the item shows people how live steam works, even if they have never ever seen a full steam engine. How the Mamod shows it is by lighting the fuel tablet, then the fire heats the water in the boiler, you have have to put water in or else it would go bang and when steam is made the Mamod runs.

    Great value.

    Wanted a project to keep me occupied and keep out of wife's hair!! This is perfect ( now completely stripped down).. Item arrived before expected time very well packaged.Good value for money.
