Ziggy Stardust SACD
I would imagine that being an audio engineer can be a nightmare. Each slider on a 64 track recording console is at the mercy of the ears of that engineer. The original recording integrity and quality of the mix could be compromised or destroyed without the proper ear to create the 5.1 version of the original. I knew from the first minutes of the disc, that a great amount of time, patience, and care were taken to produce this SACD. The sound seems to be very aligned in time, almost like sitting on the stage during a live performance. It truly must be listened to in 5.1 surround to appreciate the genius of the beloved David Bowie and his Spiders from Mars. Mick Ronson's guitar work is most amazing on "Moonage Daydream", but it does set the whole tone throughout the entire album. It reminds me of seeing him back in November of 1972, at Cleveland's Public Hall........

Excellent remaster in 5.1
Most of us have enjoyed this LP for decades but this version is amazing. Never would have guessed how good it would sound in 5.1. I only have a few sacds and plan to seek out more of my favorite albums since it's like hearing them for the first time again. The pricing is too high at times so it will take a while to build up a collection
