Adequate
Always buy two. I had lost two of these so far.
The good;
Great for older hands like mine. Very convenient with or without scope mounted. You can set it up on right or left. Good, positive friction even in cold weather.
The bad;
Can't seem to keep them on the rifle. They loosen and fall off. Even with the locking dual screws. For this reason I cannot give 5 stars. The one I am mounting now, will have threadlocker applied. I am going to assume this will resolve the issue. If the threadlocker works, the item will deserve 5 stars. I believe it to be of good value. A note of CAUTION: If you want to lower your cocked hammer manually, I suggest having your thumb on the hammer and not the extension. It is not that your thumb will slip off but the offset over the center of the hammer fulcrum fools you on the amount of tension needed for safely lowering the hammer. Practice with an unloaded rifle to get the feel.
