First movie produced by John Wayne is one of his best.
In the top 4 of Wayne's best movies. A small, old fashioned type of story as would have been made by William S. Hart and Lambert Hillyer where the love of a good woman reforms a bad man. Well cast character actors and scenery. Filmed in the scenic Sedona, Arizona country when it was still open space. One of >300 movies made or filmed in Yavapai County since our first (Lubin) of three movie studios opened in Prescott in 1912.
