    Simply Plug n Play. (Update your Sync 3 1st!)

    Can't go wrong selecting a genuine Ford part. It was quite literally, plug and play! I installed this part in my 2016 Ford Edge Sport after I made sure my Sync system was updated. This is key, by the way. It must be updated to enjoy the full features of Apple CarPlay. The whole install too about 8 minutes. I got my genuine Apple cable and simply plugged it in. That easy.

    Some assembly may be required

    If it was 100% direct replacement it would have been a 5 Star review. I looked up the original part number on Ford and I confirmed on eBay. As you can see by my images it has the same part number but it is different in size. The replacement faceplate is about an inch bigger than the original in my truck. I am sure it is correct in others. To resolve, I used four toothpicks to hold the tabs in so I could pull the assembly apart. I took the internal parts from the replacement and put in the original parts housing. Connectors are the same, it fit in the original assembly and more importantly, it just worked and now I have my Synch system back again. It was not a direct swap in mine but it worked well enough to resolve.

    OEM Product Upgrade At A Great Price!

    Easy replacement module to enable my 2016 Ford F-150 to have CARPLAY utilizing my iPhone. Simply use a cheapie plastic auto trim kit tool, remove the old outdated module, unplug the two wiring plugs, plug them into the new module, and insert updated module. Fantastic product at a better price than I could obtain locally. Don't forget to update your software in your SNYC 3 system to the new 3.0 version.

    Worked as expected and got me carplay.

    This product works as intended and put apple carplay in my 2016 F-150 after an update to SYNC 3 version 3.0. The only issue I had was trying to push back the 6 pins all at once to get the old one out of the truck. If they included 6 small wedges with the hub, that would put this product at 6 stars. I would highly recommend this over going to a dealer and replacing your entire screen/dash.

    Same part number, but different item. It...

    Same part number, but different item. It s size about an inch bigger than original. Fortunately with pressing the four toothpins on case I could disassembly both one (old&new) and inside they have same circuit. Thank you for giving possibility for handycraft but I would be more satisfied without extra work.
