Excellent product for pet safety
We have used this type collar for a few years now to contain our pet from a major highway. I highly recommend it. It has been a great product for the purpose we need.

Good product
We have used this product for almost a decade now. First on our 120 lbs golden mix and when he passed on out 35 lbs bearded collie mix and our 70 lbs lab mix. All have been easy to train to the fence and respect the collars. We did have to replace the collars after 8 years as they started going off randomly. They also burn through batteries more or less monthly. But our yard is hilly and forested, but the collars pick up the signal well and offer a good beep before for warning before the more punitive shock. The collars do seem ridiculously expensive, but so long as you keep the batteries current and the prongs tight it works well.

No more runaways!!
I purchased the PetSafe PIF-300 fence for my Weimaraner 3 years ago. He is now 100+lbs, & still works for him. I have since adopted two more lil' ones & have purchased the collars to add-on. We have even taken it camping with us. I keep watch on the batteries & frequently check the functionality of the collars. I recommend this product to anyone who does not have a fence, or just needs a "fence" on the go.

Branded, the real thing
I bought this item because it works with they system I currently have, to add a dog (since I added a dog to my home). It works exactly as described, by the product manufacturer, and the same as the original collar device that came with the system years ago.

Love the wireless doug fence/receiver collar
We have had 2 dogs with the PetSafe wireless dog fence/collar - for about 8 years. Has kept our dogs contained and we are able to take it with us if needed. Well with a third dog, we realized we needed another pet collar for her. Received the item as advertised; really quick ship and she is wearing it. Works wonders. We have smart dogs that pick it up in one day-one time shocked and they get it. Different levels of shock so you can ease your pet into it or train quickly. Really works well. Thank you!

I have used this type collar before, they're great just watch for the red flashing light. That tells you the battery life is low great buy .

GO FOR IT! PET SAFE IS A GREAT COMPANY.
AS A CANADIAN PET OWNER, THE EXCHANGE RATE OF OUR CURRENCY REALLY STINGS WHEN MAKING MOST PURCHASES ON THE OTHER SIDE. PET SAFE HAS ALWAYS BEEN GOOD TO ME. THE NEW REPLACEMENT COLLARS ARE EVERY BIT AS GOOD AS THE ORIGINALS. AFTER 10 YEARS SERVICE, ONE COLLAR WAS STILL WORKING PERFECTLY AND THE SECOND COLLAR WARNING BEEP STOPPED FUNCTIONING, BUT THE SHOCK CIRCUIT WAS INTACT. IN THOSE YEARS, THERE WAS SOME EXTREME ROUGH SERVICE, SO THOSE COLLARS WERE RETIRED OUT OF PRECAUTION AND DEVOTION TO MY BELOVED IRISH TERRIERS. HOPE THAT THESE REPLACEMENTS COLLARS WILL DELIVER THE SAME OUTSTANDING SERVICE......CHAS.

Excellent system
I have had this system for a number of years(more than five years), one of my dogs broke the pins off the back of her collar(she wears it daily), I dreaded replacing the collar due to cost, but found this one to be quite reasonable and now I retain the peace of mind that she will not be tempted to sprint off after one of the many creatures that love to tempt her to go for a run.

Great idea
I really give it a 4.5 star. My son helped and it took longer than the 15 minutes to get everything done. At first when I introduced my dogs they yelped and ran back to the house. I then I had to literally pulled them outside to get them to go outside. I said to myself it said it takes two weeks then and if I still have trouble it's going back. I had off a few days to deal with this new gadget. Well it worked. Now I say to the dogs let's get the collars on and they are happy to go outside. Now I feel very good to let them outside and I know they won't run to the street.

PetSafe Wireless fence reciever
More than expected which is always nice. The pictures showed a blue collar. I got the blue collar plus the standard red collar in an original, unopened PetSafe package. The Blue collar was for a much larger dog but I cut the excess with scissors and burned the end with a lighter so it wouldn't fray.
