Dated, but you must admire the production techniques used in the early 60's.
A series very much of it's time. Kids bought up on the Terminator and Alien are going to find it boring. But for many it was at it's time cutting edge and there is a certain whimsical nostalgia. It was importantly a pre-cursor to Thunderbirds which still stands up well today. Sadly, I don't think the casting in Fireball XL-5 would meet with the approval of the modern generation, no where near enough diversity!

Fireball XL5 DVD set
This has been bought as a Christmas gift for a friend, I have no idea if it's good or not. The package is indeed new and still in the cellophane wrap.
