    The end...

    As it is with all things, they come to an end. Wishing that it were not so will not make it so but remembering what it was like can help ease the sadness. I originally could not get into the DA series when plunging into the middle but after buying season 1, I too became hooked like many others. And it too eventually [sadly] came to an end. But buying the series, especially season 6, did two things for me: it gave me closure and like a photo album allowed me to recall a positive time in my life. If you have not become addicted to this series, I would suggest not buying season 6. But, and this is where it counts, BUT if you have watched faithfully all of the challenges and outcomes of choices through the seasons - including the remarkable historic accuracy and time-authentic settings - then ...

    Vwry believable storyline

    I had purchased the first 5 seasons and watch the 6th one on TV - decided I wanted to have the full set. So glad I decided to buy the 6th season. I love the story of Downton Abbey - after watching several seasons, I felt like they were friends of mine. Very nicely presented and I love the story line. It was a little difficult at the very beginning getting used to the difference in the English Language as opposed to how we pronounce things but after a while - the issue resolved itself.

    Outstanding Series

    The last two episodes of this series were especially outstanding. The episode before those wasn't great, but was necessary to set up the final two. The first episodes of this final season were very good to great to outstanding. The season was outstanding--especially on Blu-ray.

    Downton Abbey Season 6

    I bought this because I have season 1-5 and wanted to complete my set. I love Downton abbey and I bought this for traveling in my motor home. It is a feel good series and that is something we all need. The price was great.
