Generations Lieutenant Commander Worf - Star Trek - Generations Lieutenant Commander Worf NIP Action Figure from the 1994 toy series. Subject: Worf Son of Mogh Species: Klingon/Male Rank: Lt. Commander Assignment: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D The grandson of Col. Worf who defended Admiral Kirk and Dr. McCoy in a sensational trial in 2293 Lt. Worf was orphaned as a child in a Romulan attack. He was rescued and later adopted by Sergey Rozhenko crew member of the U.S.S. Intrepid. Worf was the first Klingon to enter and graduate from Starfleet Academy. He remains Starfleet s only Klingon officer. At first he was flight control officer for the Enterprise. Later upon the death of Lt. Yar Worf was made full lieutenant and Chief of Security. His Klingon sense of huonor duty and loyalty have made Worf one of the most respected members of Starfleet. Worf has become involved at times in the labyrinth of Klingon politics. He once had to resign his commission during his involvement in the Klingon Civil War. Recently Lt. Worf performed admirably during an attack by a Klingon Bird of Pre. Worf s powerful Klingon physique and endurance will no doubt be crucial to the Enterprise which as last report was entering an odd area of space called the Nexus Ribbon.
