Gamers explore new towns and travel back in time to battle and befriend more than 350 Yo-kai creatures in Yo-Kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls. The embodiment of all of life's problems, Yo-kai hide in plain sight, though protagonists Nathan Adams and Katie Forester own special watches that allow them to spot the mischievous beings. Players can explore the small village of Harrisville and the seaside metropolis San Fantastico in search of Yo-kai, and then they can head 60 years into the past with the cat Hovernyan to save Springdale and ensure the original Yo-kai watch model is created.<br><br>The action finds gamers forming a team of six Yo-kai and then exploring cities to help solve people's problems, put an end to a civil war between Yo-kai factions, and defeat troublemaking creatures in turn-based battles. Players gain experience and upgrades for their watch as they battle, and they can collect in-game coins to use on Crank-a-kai machines to find rare Yo-kai and other important items. Yo-Kai Watch 2 also introduces a the new four-player Yo-kai Watch Blasters mode for local co-op multiplayer action, and gamers can connect via StreetPass, or engage in one-on-one multiplayers in local or online modes.
