The Oregon Chisel 20-Inch Saw Chain Loop is a chain-link saw blade with chisel-style teeth for strong cutting power. It weighs 0.75 pounds when off the saw and fits most chainsaws that are compatible with 20-inch chains. This blade has 72 steel links at a gauge of 0.050. I Like the way this chain performs. Cuts fast and easy!!!
My only problem with these Chains it does fit on my Poulan Pro 20" bar but it doesn't tighten up enough. There is too much slack. I cut a lot of wood I am a professional at cutting wood. so I use these chains but it would be nice if they fit better. I know people laugh when I say I have a Poulan saw, but it is strong and reliable for me. I do not like Huskies. They are not reliable like my Poulan. and too hard to start. Great saw chain!!
I was a little skeptical at first, but after using it just for a few minutes I could tell a huge difference. I was using this saw chain tearing down an old barn, and it’s impossible not to hit a few nails here and there. This thing chewed em up and spit them out, and kept on going! I stopped after I hit about a half a dozen 16d nails and you couldn’t even tell. Three teeth in a row were rounded over, others looked normal. Threw it in my bench top sharpener, five minutes, good as new. Right back to razor sharp, and in clean wood it lasts 10x longer than a regular chain. not expensive, but you get what you pay for.
Not a chain for the weak of heart. I used this on a Stihl MS362, 20inch bar. I cut up a lot of firewood, 2-3 cords annually. I used this chain on some harder woods, locust and oak. It was not very durable. Lasted a short period before needing to be sharpened. Nor was it easy to get sharpened. I used an Oregon file, designed for this size chain. Oregon Power Match Bar
Received the product quickly. Good alternative to Stihl and cheaper. Seems a bit heavier than my original Stihl ES bar but not a big deal. Feels solid and heavy duty.
