NORTH DALLAS FORTY is a funny and insightful peek into the world of professional football, adapted from Peter Gent's novel. Phillip Elliott is an aging wide receiver for the North Dallas Bulls who still delivers on the field--despite the many past injuries that keep him in almost constant pain. The corporate bigwigs, however, are growing increasingly annoyed by Elliott's complaining. North Dallas Forty .... the "Gone with the Wind" of football movies. I just hope they did not cut the saucy parts.

Good movie
Very little football is actually played in this throwback of a football movie. But the characters are entertaining and it shows a different time when people were allowed to not agree. Worth a watch.
