This movie makes you think.
It's not often you see the personal side of the hero's. When you call the fire department, the ambulance or the police, there is always a personal side. When any of them get to a scene, the have to take an active roll. But they are all people. People with their own issues and problems, yet that is all pushed aside to help you, the public. Hey Rookie, Did You Check That Door For Heat?
A Great Movie with an outstanding cast is one reason why this movie is a must have. I went to see this movie back in 1990. Firefighting runs deep in my family and as a fire explorer at a young age I was so excited when I got to see this. My mom and Dad who was a Capt. for Dayton, Ohio went. The story in the film is excellent and the effects are outstanding. I have nothing negative to say about the film, but there was a little over drama in the film, and firefighters must have proper gear on before entering including a SCBA so they do not die of smoke inhalation.
