Recorded on Sunday 16th of December 2001, this eclectic performance was the first pop/rock show to take place at London's esteemed Royal Opera House. As befits such a special occasion, Björk pulled-off a truly stunning performance, with the unique backing of the electronica duo Matmos; harpist Zeena Parkins; conductor Simon Lee; the Inuit Choir from Greenland, and a full 50-piece orchestra. Songs performed include "All Is Full of Love," "Hyperballad," "Human Behaviour," "Jóga" and many more.

Bjork Gottsmindottur!
She maybe an acquired taste, but she has her own unique style! Bjork is charismatic & you just want more, & it's hard to explain...i think she was one of the better artists of the 90's to now. And kudos to the directors of her far out - innovative videos too! That other 2 part collection of her promo videos are really great too! They're also in my collection! She's so cute too!

Magnificent Beyond Words!
Bjork is an incredible artist, that be known, but to see how she delivers this Vespertine performance, is spellbinding! You are gracefully taken by your hand, into her gorgeous, inner world of music, fantasy and visuals. I have watched this three times and every time, shed tears...she is one of few artists today, that can literally squeeze your emotions to the surface. She is in a class entirely of her own, which is so utterly, challenging to establish and maintain in today's music industry. A shear joy to watch, two thumbs way up!!
