Smokey & the Bandit
I have not built the model yet; but, the following comments come from my survey of the kit as an experienced builder. The directions are clear; little chance of misdirection. Paint colors, color schemes & directions are clear and easy to follow. Engine parts & assembly is clear; I do not like the 1-piece heads, intake manifold, carburetor molding. Placement/ location of interior pieces and the subframe build-up are clear however may be tricky in final assembly for inexperienced builders. Final body to chassis assembly appears to be clear but I have never liked the screw-together attachment method. To prevent body/chassis damage, front & rear suspension construction/attachment to the otherwise finished model is not ideal- steps 8b, 9 & 10 should precede Step 8a. The remainder including decal application appears straight forward and well identified. 2 negatives are the lack of suggesting clear T-top panels be smoke-tinted and the wheels be gold trimmed; the original T-top firebirds all had smoke-tinted glass panels and the wheels, gold trim/hi-lite. Conclusion: with skill, patience & reference picture review, this kit will make a splendid scale replica.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Overall this is a good kit. Including Beau's cowboy hat was a nice touch, but revel forgot to include the CB antenna to hang it on. Clear red taillights would have been nice, as well as all the pin stripes that were on the 1:1 car ( for the mirrors and chin spoiler)Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Revell 1/25 scale 1977 Trans Am Decal Set
This is probably one of the best decal sets for the 1/24, 1/25 scale Trans Am model available. The only thing is the three "TRANS AM" decals, 2 fender and 1 rear spoiler, are not included on the sheet.
