  • Good quality lightweight

It does what it is suppose to do. I wanted to see who is coming up behind me when I ride and this works well for me. It's very light weight. I tried it on my sunglasses initially and it worked fine. I ended up moving ot to my bike helmet so I don't have to keep putting it on and taking it off my glasses. My wife found it distracting and did not use the one I purchased for her. I gave it to a friend who loves it. It grips very well and be somewhat difficult to mount. It definitely takes some getting use to and finding the correct position to see behind you. Glad I purchased it and recommend.

  • Great product

I had this mirror and loved it. This purchase was for my husband. It's easy to attach to the glasses and adjust as needed. It gives perfect visibility to cars or other riders coming from the rear.

  • Snap to put on but it will take time in learning to use it

If you expect to snap it on you helmet, adjust it and it will be just like your car's rearview mirror, forget it! It will take time to get use to it. Just slight movement of your head makes a big difference in what you see. It has taken me about a week and I almost have it down pat. If you don't want to take the effort to learn to use this mirror, save yourself some money and pass. Quality of this product is very good and I think it is worth the learning curve. I think this mirror would be very stable on the visor of you helmet but being overly cautious I put a zip tie at the connection point on my visor. Black zip tie and black visor makes it almost invisible and I don't have to worry about the mirror slipping of or knocking it off.

  • I use it every day

I love being able to look in the mirror as if I was driving a car. In fact I need this just as much when I am biking in the traffic The mirror needs some duck tape to stay in place, but that was easy. I took me some time to learn how to look in the mirror with one eye and adapt my vision, but once learned, it comes automaticly. The only downside is my family saying this looks rather uncool, but I am a grown woman, so who cares! :-)

  • This Original version is like Marmite. Some love it and some don't. I prefer the Compact version

Pros:- The mirror quality is very good. The frame quality is very good. The frame is long enough that the mirror can be adjusted to various distances from the eye. Cons:- Unlike the Compact version the mirror is not drilled all the way through so is not reversible. To use in the UK this means that the frame has to be bent accordingly - which it is designed to do. When worn at max distance from the eye without additional tie wrap support(s) it can be subject to the effects of vibration. A small movement of the head gives a large sweep of field of vision when worn at max distance from the eye - so can be more difficult to control what you are looking at than with the Compact version. Note:- The Compact version mirror by comparison (NOT THIS ONE) is drilled all the way through and is reversible. The frame is so short that bending it is not an option, but not necessary either. It can be used on left hand or right hand drive roads. Some people prefer the ability to be able to set the distance from the eye which cannot be done with the Compact version. I personally prefer the Compact version. The Compact version gives a rock solid view - not affected by vibration.

  • This is the only bicycle mirror to buy

I've been using Bike Peddler mirrors for probably close to 30 years - I still have my first one though I recently replaced the mirror portion (read on). There are various types of bicycle mirror designs out there but the ones that mount on your glasses or helmet allow you to more easily/quickly look to the rear; and of those with this design the Bike Peddler mirror is the only one that is simple, proven and durable. What's more if the mirror portion is damaged for any reason you can send it in with $3 and they will replace it (which I just did for my oldest version - I own three). The only downside: they don't look cool and compared with some of the copy-cats out there they look a bit clunky.

  • I almost can't cycle without it now.

I've tried various cycling mirrors and this is the best one I've found. It's both flexible and durable and seems to be the right size. This purchases replaces a lost mirror--be sure to secure the mirror well to your glasses or helmet. When I lost my first one, It felt like I lost half my eyesight, I'd gotten so used to using it.

  • This mirror works!

When riding a bike, a rear view mirror is, in my opinion, the most important safety device, at par with the breaks. I always wear it when biking and feel naked without. The Bike Peddler mirror was design by a bicyclist, is of a good quality and simply does work. I tried a number of designs and this one is definitely the best.

  • How did I manage without it.

Having a restricted ability to turn my head, this mirror is invaluable, for seeing what is immediately behind me and with a slight movement of my head to see what is further down the road.. To know that I can turn safely against traffic flow is great. Mounted on my spectacles, it doesn't suffer from any vibration effects and even mounted on my visor it is better than any other mirror I've tried. Best cycling purchase I have made. Thank You

  • For safety's sake, worth it

I place it on the plastic visor on my helmet. Required bending silver part of frame for better viewing. Put helmet on and fine tune adjust with something worthwhile behind you (Generally on the side of the road so I can ideally set mirror). Wearing it on my helmet, I feel like I'm restricted as to where I can adjust the mirror to. Glasses might be more ideal, as they're designed for such. On my helmet, it is visible and I can see behind me. It's not something to stare at but use moderately as a tool. I glance at it when needed. Took a while to get used to tracking things behind me. Good stuff.
