Could be better
The needle valve works great. However, the port on the large white piece, directly above the needle valve (where the fuels comes in), would not fit, it was too large. Also, the tiny o-ring that goes around the jet was a bit too large. It sheared in half when I tried to insert it. I had to mix and match new and old parts, which is not why I purchased a rebuild kit. To top it off, the mower won't start. It acts like it's not getting any gasoline although the bowl is full and the solenoid works. Mismatched parts...
The two smaller o-rings, one for the main jet and the other for fuel inlet passage, do not fit where intended. Neither the float, nor the float pivot pin were correct either. Some other small parts may be usable, but I was not able to determine for sure yet. I only used the larger o-rings and gaskets to get my mower running again. This kit did include more parts than the manufacturers rebuild kit, but for what good if the parts don't fit? Overall, I would not recommend this particular product as a replacement for the original manufacturer's Briggs and Stratton 796184 CARB OVERHAUL kit.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

good quality
Could not find exact kit for my (12yr old) carb found the dimensions of this kit and ordered it knowing it was close to mine, enough of the parts fit to make my carb run like new. the plastic pickup tube was about 1/8" too long I could have trimmed it to fit but opted to use the old one which worked out fine. Wrong Part for my Carb
Before you buy this kit, look closely at the float bowl gasket. There are two versions and this version, while close, did not match mine even though the model number on my carb sent me to this kit. Also, the fuel tube has a longer piece on the bottom making it not fit my application. Didn't fit & missing parts
I tried to use my rebuild kit yesterday & the plastic float base would not fit. The round hole that sticks up from the float base & goes into the metal carb body would not align. I measured it with calipers & the hole is not in the correct location. Also there was no replacement o-ring for the float base & the main carb body gasket was misformed & wouldn't stay on the float base. So basically the kit was useless. I did use the needle from it. I have purchased other kits in the past & rebuilt this same carb w/o any issues. My carb is a Nikki 594593. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS KIT.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Good price
Amazingly cheap, even though the gas shut off needle leaks, main jet size too small, "o" ring for the jet way to big. Gaskets and big "o" rings, no problem. I am giving a 5 star for price, cant beat it.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Not exact fit NIKKI 795873
This kit was recommended for my model and most parts where fine but the quality of O-ring construction was poor. Not exact fit for 795873 NIKKI on a 331777 Briggs 20hp. O-ring material of the main seal was off by 2mm in sections of fit between bowl and plastic main jet body. Could not use the main seal. All O-ring material was sloppily made and dimensions where off just enough to make it hard to put together.

Could Be Better

B&S 17.5 carb kit

Very complete kit that worked
I was shocked how quickly the rebuild kit arrived. It had all the parts I needed. I used a wire brush bristle to clean carb passages - too bad the kit did not have a cleaning wire, but it worked, came quickly, and seems the parts were well made.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
