NotesFantasies was written mostly in exile in Argentina with only a piano and guitar, recorded mainly at the band's own Giant Studio in Toronto and mixed at the legendary Electric Lady in NYC. It's gilded surfaces and textured density - a heady amalgam of psychedlia, electro and rock - evoke a certain dream like quality.

Up until I heard one of the songs from this CD played on Pandora I had never heard of this Canadian group. It has quite a few songs on it that will stay in your head quite awhile. They are extremely hard to describe. Thought I heard a little influence from Garbage on one or two songs.
