Although the mopey redhead is always the focal point of the episodes, there's no shortage of excellent supporting roles, including Angela's heartthrob crush Jordan Catalano (Jared Leto); shy admirer Brian Krakow (Devon Gummersall); wild-girl best friend Rayanne (A.J. Langer); closeted gay friend Ricky (Wilson Cruz); and often-clueless parents Patty (Bess Armstrong) and Graham (Tom Irwin). Lovely Series
I'm surprised by how well this series has stood the test of time. My wife, who didn't know it, is enjoying it a lot. The great thing about it is that it gives fair time to a large cast of beautifully written, passionately acted characters: it's not just about the kids. This is a very basic DVD set-there aren't even subtitles, but it is a nice trip back to the fading disappointments of the Clinton years, when America still held on to a semblance of self-respect, before 9/11 and their worst demons overtook them. The music is, for the most part, still pretty good; the clothes, not as bad as you'd expect; the attitudes, for the most part, are still recognisable, despite the gulf of events that separate then from now.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

A great series!

Love it
I first watched this back when I was a teenager (many moons ago). I loved it. Then when my daughter entered her mid teens I bought the box set for her, she also loved it now my two step daughter's are in their teens I'm passing down the joy to them and I'm 100% sure they'll love it as much as I still do. It's a timeless classic. The only disappointing side is that it comes in 3 slim cases instead of one big box but that's no big deal really.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
