The power of love…we see what we want to...
The power of love…we see what we want to see. The protected environment of the cottage and those who dwell there. Robert Young is his affable self and always a top actor. Dorothy McGuire is enchanting in a not glamorous sort of way.

A Memorable Love Story
This movie is as relevant today as it was in the 1940's. The actors (Dorothy McGuire, Robert Young, Herbert Marshall and Mildred Natwick) were all at the top of their game. The right amount of time was spent developing the characters which made the love story believable. This was a three hanky movie for me, but all the tears were tears of joy.

Teenage dream...
Sold us as a teenager... Thought of it often... And when I saw it for sale had to buy it.. I was really grateful... Excellent writing... Great cast of course... good acting... Very thought-provoking... What is really important in life...

Perfect!
This a delightful very old movie....The best one were! I'm a baby boomer so I love this magical movies like Mrs. Muir....... I would recommend this for anyone who appreciate beautiful, innocent old movies.

A Classic
This is a movie I've been wanting to see for a while. I saw the beginning on TCM, but was unable to stay for the whole story. It's mysterious, romantic, and a little spooky.

The beauty within.
This movie is about inner beauty. The beauty that is not seen by the naked eye. The beauty that can enhance a relationship or the lack of it which can end a relationship. Well worth viewing.
