These gaskets are worth the price.
I needed to replace a knock sensor on my 2001 Silverado 2500HD, so I needed new intake gaskets. These FelPro gaskets are of a different design than the stock ones, but worked perfectly. The base of the gasket is heavy gauge aluminum with nice rubber seals for each port. The pack also included new gaskets and an o-ring for the EGR valve. I didn't need either, as I did not unbolt the EGR valve front the bracket, only from the intake, and my o-ring was good. Cleaning up the mounting surfaces is important and that was the longest part of this job. These gaskets are located by small hoops that hang on two head bolts (per side). There are also locating tabs that index in the intake manifold. Once I put the gaskets in place and then lowered the intake in place, it sat very firmly in place before even starting the intake manifold bolts.

The best intake gasket kit

The best LS intake gaskets
This fixed the whistle sound as i accelerated. The fitment is great. Better than the plastic intake gaskets.
