Only one thing not to like, can't be used with low batteries, wait, hear me out...
There are two magnetic orientations that make it easy to put the light in convenient places. I store one inside the door of the steel garage cabinet that I use the most to store tools, but it regularly gets used everywhere in the garage.
It's very bright for it's size. The only downside I've experienced is dimming when batteries are low, which sounds like a "duh" statement, of course it's going to be dimmer with depleted batteries, but this light dims just a bit, then shuts off completely with low batteries.
Incandescent bulbs and many other LEDs just keep getting dimmer as you use up the voltage a battery can provide, so they're less effective, but still somewhat usable, just degraded with lower light output. This light dims just a little, then suddenly, no more light. There's still a little bit of juice in the batteries, just not enough to get this particular LED array lit up with lower illumination.
But fresh batteries fix it all, and batteries do last a long time. I just wish the flashlight could squeeze every bit of juice out of the batteries. Rechargeable batteries (1.2V versus alkaline's 1.5V) work fine in this light.
