Product Information
A lone space marine must battle an onslaught of demonic creatures in this 32X version of the computer classic, Doom. Use your fists or equip one of six weapons, from a pistol and shotgun to a chainsaw and rocket launcher, to battle groups of imps, zombies, and other hell spawn. Ride elevators, throw switches, and collect keycards to advance through 17 levels, adapted from the computer game's first two episodes. Unlike the 1993 original, Doom for 32X lacks a save feature and multiplayer functionality. The BFG weapon is also not found within the main game, but it is accessible after entering in a cheat code.Product Identifiers

Cutdown Version Of DOOM
Not as good as the PC version but not a total loss. This game was rushed so it could be released with the 32x and it really shows. The game has been cut down to play in a small window. The game might have been able to do full screen with enough time. The main thing they left out was sound. The sounds are very low resolution and the music is even worse. The controls are sloppy. For instance circle strafe uses the same button to open doors and interact with objects, you just hold it down longer. If you open a door and hold down the button a split second too long, around you go. For all it's faults it's still Doom, you just have to pretend your on a very old dos machine with a crappy midi port game pad.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
