Does the trick
If you have a Pentair valve you need a Pentair kit. This does the job. Was quick and easy to install. In my previous one, the spring rusted out. It doesn't look as if this has been improved so will need to get another one in the future. Was a little expensive for mostly being plastic. Seller was great.

Easy to replace
This is the second time in 12 years I've rebuilt this valve: it's great to be able to just install the replacement flapper assembly (versus having to replace the entire valve like with so many other check valves). No cutting, no glues; just 8 screws--takes about 5 minutes.

Pentair check valve
Just before I replaced the valve it sounded like a helicopter was over the house whenever the pool pump came on. Water was trying to get by the flapper, replaced valve and it is quiet as can be. Easy replacement

Easy repair for hot tubs or other systems which slowly drain at night
Once of the easiest repairs I've done in a while. Fixed a long standing problem in about 20 minutes.

Just what the (pool) doctor ordered!
