Not for hard of hearing.
These discs are very disappointing to me, because it states on the box that they are closed captioned in English but when playing the disc, close captioning is not available. It makes the entire set useless for someone with hearing problems like me. Other versions (I have seasons 1 and 2) do have close captioning.

long live heartland
Like all very long-running shows the first 5 seasons were the best, not the second 5, and certainly not the last 5. I'm talking about all TV where the actors were at it too long after they got paid, and flat in delivery and pacing. You know the shows. Heartland is a beautiful Canadian ensemble series where the Canadian outdoors is the star and all the actors are having a hoot feeling out their characters and really establishing a community. Jack and Tim have to govern a ton of youthful energy between Ty, Amy, Ash, Saraya, Lu, Mallory, Caleb, and even Kit. Lot's of fun and laughs. and drama. and many very nice moments that keep you hooked til the next episode. locations and cinematography always breathtaking, direction so good it never gets in the way of the actors, writing is just as consistent, and whoever edits all these episodes never lets it drag. It's a special show.

Best of the Best
One of the best series I've ever watched, with old time values of family life and love, and how they are meant to work. No surprise sex scenes or profanity like most programs now days. Wonderful characters. Love it.

I love this series. It's got so many horse scene's. If ur a horse lover you will want to watch it.

Great Movie to purchase the entire series
Great Story line and excellent actors. The scenery is awesome and a movie series great for the family or anyone who loves horses. You won't be disappointed.
