Tung oil finish ( varnish )
This is a super super shiny glorious varnish If your doing a project u care about, then this the product to use. And let’s face it, u pay for what you get. Can't beat the value
For about 10 dollars this is a great product if you are looking for a glossy finish. I used another Tung oil (not high gloss) as well as danish oil (which was a lot more expensive). This definitely was the best I used and will use it in the future. Be warned it has a strong smell so Use it in a well ventilated area.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

My build with Tung Oil
Just finishing up on a spalted maple Les Paul. I have been dissatisfied with the finish choices which most kits are finished with as I have a preference for the natural feel and look of the woods. After reading of some builders use and liked the end results. I purchased this product. This is a penetrating oil. As I intend to have this guitar around for some years. This is for me. No gloss or bling. The best tones are said to be with minimal interference to the woods surface. I can relate with that! At present I stopped at two coats on both the neck and body. Content with the minimal darkening the oil produce. Someday down the road I will add another coat or two or some wax. great product. Too bad it's discontinued.
I am disappointed this product is being discontinued. I have used the same product for a yearly project for 20 years. I have not found another product that applies the same and produces the same results.
