Easy to install and great quality
Merchandise was shipped quickly and packaged well. You have to wrestle with the plastic clam shell, to get the cartridge out of the packaging. This one is dripping after 16 months !
These cartridges are a temporary fix for the piece of junk that DELTA now sells, this is my third cartridge in 4 years, will only last 12 to 18 months and start leaking again ! Will never purchase any DELTA products again. I will replace my kitchen faucet with another brand next time it leaks The old DELTA that I had for 20 years only need to replace the rubber seals once at a cost of one tenth of the cost of these cartridges. Review on the above purchase: I am in the hunt for a deal on my 5th one now, if the one I find cost more then $23 I will have paid $7 more for repairs than the cost of the fancy new faucet in almost 5 years !Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

This is a great new waterless system!
These cartridges remove the ball and washer system of old Delta faucets and replaces it with a ceramic flow regulator. The flow was little slow and I took mine apart to make "flow enhancements" by widening the chambers on the ceramic disc. I over worked the channels and needed a replacement cartridge. I made similar changes, removing less material than the first time and I have a great flow and an easy care system. Service tip, the cartridge needs plumbers grease on the ceramic disc for reassembly after being taken apart or the disc may not move freely for you. This is also the cure for a sticky or rough moving handle, a little "plumbers grease" is a lot cheaper then a new cartridge and may fix a small problem fast and cheap. I did not find this fix on you tube, it is my own, When widening the channels on the ceramic disc I used a dremel with diamond bits from "Harbor Freight" ($6). and it is better to try to deepen the channels than to widen them, the first try I made them too wide and the cartridge dripped when shut off and that was the only reason I needed a replacement. I like the new system, the cartridge is easily serviceable for normal care and easily replaced for those persons without mechanical abilities.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

This is a Genuine Delta repair part and it worked perfectly. The replacement job required only 5 minutes. In contrast, I had previously purchased a "fits your faucet" repair part, which was totally non-functional. Delta RP50587
The Delta RP50587 replacement valve cartridge made the repair of a leaky kitchen faucet easy. The repair was a simple removal of the old cartridge and dropping in the new cartridge. The faucet was 6 years old and the two retaining units (a plastic cap that was only hand tightened and a brass bonnet which need to be loosened with a wrench) were not corroded or stuck. great deal

Excellent & cost effective Delta replacement part.
This cartridge is an excellent and cost effective replacement for the Delta part. Fits nicely into the faucet and looks just like the original Delta cartridge - at half the cost. Costs less just as good so far.
Bought this to fix a dripping faucet and so far it’s doing it’s job. I had bought a genuine delta cartridge for more than twice the price of this, just under a year ago.
