OMG!
This string is a nightmare. Have no idea what they were thinking or how a product could go so poorly. You will be digging it out of the spool every 60 seconds. It's made of some kind of sticky plastic that like glues itself to itself. Not going to say avoid it. Going to say don't buy it. It plain doesn't work. And no it wasn't the weed eater or that it is star type string. Put a different star string in and the weed eater worked fine. Ya,. Horrible stuff. No idea how a product this bad even ever gets to a customer. Can't think of anything I've ever bought that was worst. Thinking,, thinking,, thinking,. No can't think of anything. My Honda has had some pretty bad fails but nothing this bad and this string is a complete fail. It never worked. My Honda still gets me to work,, so ya .. let's see,. Had a humidifier that leaked,. But honesty that was an easier fix then digging the line out of the weed eater. I actually bought a bunch of these thinking how easy it will be too just change out the little pre filled spool thing. Ya straight waste of money. I did like the little battery weed eater. Had two of them. But I just refilled the same spool with a different line. excellent quality
the quality is excellent, the price with shipping is high. This muti-pak of spools didn't include the cover caps for the spools, which some do include. If this was the only available replacement spools I would purchase them, but I'd rather get them with the caps and in a larger quantity, due to the high cost of SH & H. easy to replace just wish there was more on each spool
after purchasing found out i still had 12 left over from last summer. wish there was more twine on the spools, they go pretty quick, but these make it so easy swap out an empty for a new one. SPOLLS FOR THE WORX WEED EATER
HI, ALL SORRY BUT WORX SEEMS TO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THERE SPOOLS, THEY BREAK OFF AFTER USING THEM FOR ABOUT SEVERAL MINUTES. I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED BUT AFTER IT BREAKS OFF THE SPOOLS STILL HAVE ALLOT OF CORD ON THEM. I THINK WHEN THE MANUFACTOR WAS MAKING THEM THEY WERE TOO HOT WHEN THEY STARTED PUTTING THE RED SPOOL ON THE ROUND UNIT. AND THEY ARE LIKE GLUED TO THE SPOOL. I CAN TAKE A PICTURE , BUT IAM SURE I CANT BE THE ONLY ONE HAVING THIS PROBLE. PLEASE SEND ME SOME DIFFERENY SAMPLE I HAD PURCHASED 6 , AND THEY ARE ALL BAD. Wound weedearer string
Very pleased! I had already been using them in a smaller Worx weedeater I purchased at Lowe’s. It took the 20volt battery. So I already was familiar with the spoiols of weedeater string.
