EZ-no fuss can opener.......looks good on the counter
Very simple to operate, looks good, cuts thru the rim with no sharp edges. I had a manual can opener that operated by hand that cuts the same way that this unit does and finally wore it out over a seven year period. I ordered this electric opener and have used it many times and it does a great job without wearing out my wrist from twisting the handle. This was a great purchase on a re-conditioned item at a fair price. Looks new right out of the box with no negative issues. I give it a five star rating as far as can openers go.......good purchase.

Nice can opener
Originally I was looking for a small can opener that I could just stick in the drawer, but even though this can opener isn't as small as I would like, it is about the size of other counter top openers. What I do like about it is it opens the cans with ease and leaves no sharp edges, which is why I got it. It does a great job. Some reviews complained about having to hold the lever down while opening the can, but I don't see that as an issue. I mean, really how hard is it? Personally, I think it's a great can opener.

The best of all of them!
I have used every type of can opener on the market. From manual to electric to the battery, you know the ones that go around the top. Not a single one was worth owning. Then I tried the Hamilton Beach smooth touch. It is incredibly easy to use works right each and every time. Love it so much I gifted them to family for Christmas.

Most electric can openers are garbage with a short life - this one knocks it out of the park
Powers through any can with ease , leaves a smooth edge , have had 2 years and still works flawlessly

Best style can opener you can.
Having bought several puncture type can openers and finding them very inadequate, this opener works so well it was a breath of fresh air.

The cut-off top is now larger than the inside of the can
Can't press liquid out of can with removed top. The top being cut from the side of the can makes the top larger than the inside of the can. But it makes a beautiful addition to your cabinet top.

Arthritis wrists like electric can opener s.
I never liked the electric can opener in the past, but my wrist s and hands don't work like they used to and this is just wonderful!
