Better late than never...
Friends and Family told me years ago that this was must see TV and I ignored them. 2 months ago I happened to catch the first season via streaming and the lightbulb burned bright in my head. The writing, characters, and production are all top notch and the kicker for me was the Executive Producer is Sean Hayes (Jack) of Will and Grace fame. I knew then to snatch up this series and eBay didn't disappoint.

Highly enjoyable blend of Horror, Comedy, Drama and Fantasy
This five-year series utilized several strong elements from the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" series and the older "Kolchak the Night Stalker" in a new and creative way. The artists involved created a highly enjoyable blend of Horror, Comedy, Drama and Fantasy. Fine acting and production values. Portland setting. The basic premise is that the Grimms' Fairy Tales were based on encounters the Grimms had with "Wesen," people who can transform into different human-animal shapes. They can allow people like us to see their transformations, or they can conceal them. The descendants of the Grimms can see these transformations even when the Wesen don't want them to. Nick, the central character, discovers he is a Grimm and struggles to balance his responsibilities as a police detective with those of a Grimm. Highly recommended!

Great title, hope they continue with a new Grimm series
Great DVD collection! Love all the different plots and anticipation of what is going to happen next! Much more exciting than Game of Thrones.

A great fun watch!
I watched this series when it was on tv, so i decided to buy the series and re-watch it. It was such a fresh concept in a world full of reality shows! It did lose so steam in the last season, but it has to be hard to keep the new ideas coming. Overall, a great watch!

love this show and the dvd's!!!
grimm was always my favorite show on Tv for alot of reasons. One that I grew up in Portland OR where it is filmed and I can almost always identify where they are shooting. That is fun and I loved the way they infuse comedy in amongst the scarey story lines. I love all the characters and how they have evolved and changed over the seasons. I wish NBC would bring this favorite show. It always seems once I find a show I really love, it is taken off the air too soon. NBC DID A HUGE MISTAKE WHEN THEY REMOVED GRIMM FROM THE AIR. MAKE IT RIGHT BRING IT BACK WITH THE SAME CAST. GET SMART.

Love it but disappointed at the same time.
Loved this series from the start. Third season was a let down the way the characters were not used with any real thought particularly the Juliette character. Then they had a problem with keeping the shows cannon straight. Sadly the over riding arch became little more than a soap opera by the end. However the acting abilities of the cast and the "monster of the week part was still very entertaining and something I looked for every week. I think that the show would have been on the air for several more decades if they would have had a better back story and made one of the characters a whinny piece of furniture.

Watch it, you like it.
This is a great series, we were sad to see it end. At least they gave a good ending. The cast fit together very well. The stories, are inventive, interesting, at times funny, at times suspenseful, there twist and turns, and surprises. I can't say enough good things about this series and the cast. Love it and Love them.

GRIMM LIVES UP TO THE NAME.....!!!
THE TALES BY THE BROTHERS GRIMM WERE NOT SUGAR COATED LIKE MOVIES MADE THEM OUT TO BE, SO THIS SERIES GRABBED AND CAPTIVATED ME, WHEN IT WAS ON I MISS A FEW EPISODES, THIS IS WELL WORTH VIEWING... THE ACTING IS GOOD, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT GREAT, AND SPECIAL EFFECTS PERFECT.... LOVE IT AND THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT....!!!

Grimm is Great
We're into the third season and dvd's play without any problems. The show itself is one of the best I've seen though I'd not been able to see it when it was a tv series. Highly recommend it as the actors are exceptional and the special effects are many and smooth. Much work went into this series and can be enjoyed over and over with the complete series DVD's.

Awesome show!!
This is now my new favorite show! My daughter and I recently finished Supernatural and this is similar. I had tried to stream a couple of episodes when this was on Netflix, but it kept freezing up. I was ecstatic when I saw the complete set! Great series for any supernatural fan and was purchased at a great price! Thank you!
