Doesn't work, do not buy.
The only good news about this is you can contact RAM mount and get replacement ball mounts when they wear out; in my case that was every two weeks riding once daily for 20-30 miles a day. This is a flawed system. I had it a week before the ball that holds the x-cradle on wore down and consequently my phone would flop around like a bobble head. After replacing it numerous times, and having my phone fall off my bike at 35 miles an hour, I decided to convert it to double socket arm. Again, to their benefit, RAM mount sent me out a RAM 1'' ball, RAP-B-366U, that's for a camcorder. I removed the stud for mounting the camcorder and attached it to my current tough-claw. Because it wasn't part of my original mount I purchased the double arm socket, and after not hearing back for RAM mount about exchanging my current x-grip for one with a ball mount I purchased it as well. My current system works, but in the end it cost twice as much as if I'd gone for the double arm initially. Don't wast your time on this. Still waiting to hear about a replacement x-grip, now two weeks. Guess no luck regarding that exchange, but they usually are quite expedient when answering emails. Secures phone, mounts easily.

Solid built product
Well... If you're going to charge $50 for a cell phone mount, it better work great, and it does. Super easy to install and use. Has a nice, tight grip, doesn't wobble (any more than the natual vibrations of the bike it's mounted to). Quite handy
It's a great mount for my mobile phone, I have already used it on pretty bumpy roads and it did what it was supposed to, held my phone firmly. The only concern about this mount is also an advantage... it's easy to install to the handlebar with fingers but it's also too easy to steal in seconds without tools so I'm thinking about cutting off the wings of the T-shape bolt. Apart from this concern it's highly recommended.

Holds phone Tightly & Securely
Overall love this product. Only con is that with the Galaxy 8 the buttons are so close together that it is always pushing on one causing some errors on the phone. I have to play with the phone placement each and every time. With that said it holds my phone securely and is adjustable enough that I can see my GPS in any light by slight adjustments to it's positioning. Ram x grip
I am a Ram mount fan until I bought this unit. The clamp that mounts to your handlebar is good but the ball and socket does not work-hold. There is no way to secure the ball and socket if you make an adjustment the grip fall right out of the socket. This thing is junk! Only buy the ram mounts that has the ability to tighten the ball sockets with thumb screw, only way to have a secure phone grip.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Does what is intended - very sturdy
