Great collection of a great comedian.
I remember the era when we looked forward to a new Gallagher special. My whole family would gather to watch it, we'd talk about it at work, it was just a big deal to everyone. We started watching this set by going to our old favorite, "Stuck in the 60's." I was amazed at how much of the show I could recite word-for-word. The fact is that this humor has had a big effect on my life. I suppose anyone who has had an experience like me doesn't need my recommendation to get this set. Some folks are more interested in the technical details, so here goes. The discs are individually packaged, not stacked, but they are on plastic sprues. That's a negative to some, but I'm fine with it. The shows themselves are in old-TV format, so you'll have black bars left and right on the screen. The images are not remastered to any kind of a high-def level, but the picture is acceptable.
