Perfect fit for the Maytag Bravos MEDX700XW0
My Maytag Bravos stopped creating hot air recently. Everything else worked; the drum rotated, the lights worked, the mode selectors worked, it just stopped blowing hot air.
I pulled the front lower panel off, and right there tucked into a sheet metal enclosure was the heating element. I used my digital meter to check the resistance of the coil, and my meter indicated the coil resistance was infinite (i.e. the coil wasn't continuous anymore). I pulled the coil out, and sure enough, there was a break in the wire.
The steel backing plate that the coil is affixed to has a part number and "FSP" embossed on it. This unit matched that exactly both in description, and also the FSP branding. I installed this element and everything is working great! Hopefully good for another 11 years!
Just FYI: My dryer part number is MEDX700XW0. I have a feeling this is a brand-specific unit (like made FOR Home Depot by Maytag), and there are probably a number of other models that all start with "MEDX700" in the part number. This element fit my dryer perfectly.
