Everything Good About Detective Series
What an excellent series of programmes these are! A Touch of Cloth is, all at the same time, drama, comedy and slapstick with a touch of pathos. John Hannah plays the lead role, Cloth; a first class detective with baggage. He is ably assisted by Surrane Jones as his long suffering sidekick, and a strong supporting cast who make the three episodes compulsive viewing. Each episode is a whodunnit, with the baddie in plain view throughout the program. Good viewing, laugh aloud funny, with cringeworthy dialogue to match. Great stuff!

Daft but very funny programme. Can't believe I haven't seen it before.
Well packaged, on time and 2 out of 3 DVDs were unopened.

if you didn't catch this when it was on TV it's kinda along the lines of police squad but with a very british twist., not for kids but funny..
