Cornell Wilde financially backed this film his self
I star of the old silver screen. With notable films such as ‘Leave her to heaven’ made this film just to show you how flexible an actor he really was in his day. It’s absolutely terrifying edge of your seat tension from start to finish. Cat and mouse chase film that’s for its time is super realistic and gritty. Give it a go you want be disappointed!

LIGHTWEIGHT WITH GREAT FEATURES
A NEW SLANT ON THE BASIC CONCEPT OF SOMEONE BEING HUNTED BY FELLOW HUMANS A THEME THAT HAS BEEN USED IN FILMS SUCH AS"THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME" AND EVEN "PREDATOR".IT IS ENTERTAINING THOUGH AND GRIPPING THROUGHOUT WITH INTERESTING SIDELINES AND DRAWING THE VIEWER INTO WONDERING HOW HE WILL ESCAPE HIS PRESENT SITUATION.THE ENDING IS QUITE LOGICAL BUT UNEXPECTED.AS REGARDS THE BLURAY THE PICTURE QUALITY IS SUPERB AND YOU DO HAVE THE CHOICE OF AN ADDED DVD OF THE MOVIE WHICH COMES IN USEFUL.AN INTERESTING POINT ABOUT THE STAR OF THE MOVIE IS THAT HE WAS QUITE ILL WHEN HE ACTED IN AND DIRECTED THE FILM SO IT WAS NO MEAN ACHIEVEMENT TO COMPLETE "THE NAKED PREY" A THOROUGHLY ENTERTAINING ADVENTURE MOVIE I RECOMMEND

A Classic
Brave for the period it was created in and in the way the natives are portrayed, this film is never-the-less a true classic. Cornel Wilde is excellent and hardly needs the supporting cast with his tour de force portrayal of 'man'. Even now, many years later, certain scenes shock so do not see it with anyone under 16. A thoroughly enjoyable viewing that will stay with you a long time. Buy it!
