One awesome fan. Ryobi does it again
This is an awesome fan. I needed this fan to take to the field for my daughter’s softball games on the weekend. Anyone who has as daughter or grandchild that plays traveling softball can attest to the amount of time spent at the field, for those that don’t ALL DAY. This fan is very portable. We pop up are canopy and place this bad boy underneath and we have some cool air for the whole family of five. Runs pretty well on 2 and we get almost a whole day off one battery. I have 4 batteries from other ryobi tools so it’s safe to say we never run out of juice. I also LOVE the fact that it also comes with a standard power cord to use around the house. I use it a lot in my shop when we’re not at the ballparks. Definitely a great investment for anyone needing a portable fan. With All that said I almost forgot to mention this thing moves some air.

I bought it to use in summer power outages
I use this with Milwaukee M18 12-amp-hour battery and a $20 Ryobi-to-M18 adapter. The 12-amp-hour battery last about 18 to 19 hours on low and 5 to 6 hours on medium. I haven't tried it on high but I imagine I would get only 2 hours. It's quite loud on high, acceptable on medium, and almost musical sounding ('Hmmmm...") on low, not annoying at all. Blows a wide swath of air, great for small gatherings. You must remove the battery or battery+adapter to plug in the cord. Highly recommended.

Drum fan will make your day nore tolerable
Out of the box, I plugged it in and it works just fine, on a 4hr. battery on speed 1, almost 7 and a half hours. I'm running it in the house now on 2, it is somewhat quiet, on 3 it is not too loud, more air, more noise. I paid $69, free ship, mine was a second or return, so I got a deal IMO. I'm watching everyday to pick up another at this price, maybe you will too. Still a good buy at Home Depot for $149

This one blew me away
I have got many battery powered fans,if I turned all of them on high together, this one would still blow them away. RYOBI, THIS ONE IS A WINNER. Yes it is lightweight, jet very sturdy & very quiet Even Tool Time could not improve this one . PS : No, it does not clean windows or make coffee in the morning !

It blows, in a good way!
If you dont use these 18 volt batteries they die. This fan is great for anyplace you need extra air circulation for an hour or so. The batteries have a protection circuit that shuts them off when the voltage gets low. IF you need the fan for more than an hour or so, have more batteries or...it plugs in to 120 volts. To say it blows in this case is not a pejorative but rather a compliment to the product and what you expect of Ryobi products.

Worked Great During Power Outage
Lost our power in Florida for 2 weeks after hurricane ian, This thing was a lifesaver literally. I wouldn't call it an air cannon but it puts out more air than any other cordless fan i've seen.

Early delivery, great results, and happy consumer
Works great Lightweight Quiet Ran in 2nd speed for 6 hours on one battery. Used on my jobsite and at home in my work shed. Would recommend

Looks good, time will tell. Battery/charger cost an issue
1 It is quiet on low speeds. Average at high speed. 2 The battery makes it a bit heavy. More so with high capacity battery. 3. Well designed? Appears to be but time will tell. The fan is not low cost. This is especially true if you do not already have Ryobi batteries/charger. Buying batteries just for this fan makes it expensive. Also, few stores stock this fan and it is next to impossible to shop hands on..
