    Error in 39 tv episodes rest is correct

    The above analysis of the 39 TV episodes states they are by Basil Rathbone. Actually they are by Ronald Howard. Basil Rathbone only made 13 movie episodes. If you want all 13 episodes of Basil Rathbone movies you would have to pay above $75.00. As such there are only 8 of the thirteen moveies and 3 are Andy Wontner, 1 by Reginald Owen and 4 by Basil Rathbone. As for getting a good deal for your money this really is. By time you look at 39 tv episodes and 8 movies you for less than $10.00 including shipping that is a good deal. If you are a Basil Rathbone backer then pay the $75.00. But the other actors are real good. So far the discs are really good quality. Quick shipment also.

    A lot of older less well known film and tv of sherlock Holmes stories. Acting, scenery and production values are not good, and i cannot recommend this dvd

    Sherlock Holmes 8 movies, and 39 episodes

    I had eight movies to view vs four movies with 39 episodes. Four movies with Basil Rathbone, And three movies starring A. Wontner. The fourth movie starring R. Owen. It added variety for viewing Sherlock Holmes. In my opinion good value for the Dollar, and Excellent picturing and voice quality.

    Sherlock Holmes

    All the shows are black and white - I would like to see them in color. The stories aren't as mysterious as the newer shows. there is a lack of action that one would normally see in Sherlock Holmes movies.
