Works well. Setup experience for used card is a minor but easily overcome challenge.
Functionality is great, easy access over the network once configured. Installation is very easy with a phillips screw driver; just open the port on the back of the UP and it slides in easily. Be prepared, if you buy a used card you will likely need to use the serial interface to reset the IP settings; mine came hard-coded with an IP setup from a prior customer. Making a serial cable takes a few minutes and some jumper wires (APC uses an odd pin-out). Either way, lots of documentation is available online so even a used card is an excellent value. Just be prepared to spend 30 minutes getting it reset and set up for your network. Important: The reset button on the back only resets the password for 2 minutes; works fine, just remember to log in quickly. It also does NOT reset the TCP/IP settings, so again, serial interface cable to the rescue.

APC must have accessory.
Great product. IMHO way better management of the ups then through the serial interface. A must have for any "Smart Slot" ready UPS. Highly recommend!

Enable your APC UPS to be managed from your network. Especially useful for APC UPS with minimal interface options, i.e. two button UPS units like the SUA series. APC AP9619's are an affordable way to get the most out of your UPS with power use and battery monitoring features. Sold in bulk at the best price anywhere.
