The optical design of the Tamron LD B003 Di-II VC Aspherical IF AF Lens leverages the benefits of LD glass and aspherical optics, making crisp images that a photographer can rely on. Additionally, the unique tri-axial VC (Vibration Compensation) of the Tamron Lens for Nikon fights image blur from camera movement. This allows for improved sharpness at typical shutter speeds and enabling handheld shooting with as many as four shutter speeds slower than would otherwise be possible. This 18-270 mm f/3.5-6.3 lens also has three pairs of driving coils and low-function ball bearings placed around the VC optical group to give image stabilization for sharper images and a dramatically stable viewfinder experience. Finally, those who appreciate the mobility of handheld shooting without image blur and want to have fewer lens changes will enjoy the Tamron Lens for Nikon.
