Babylon 5 spin-off series
Crusade is a Science-Fiction series made by the same people who made Babylon 5 - but there are not as many episodes as this series was cancelled. The plot revolves around the search for a cure for a plague that has infected the human population. Although we do go to the Babylon 5 space station, the characters from that series are not a part of the plot. Crusade is quite an interesting show made in the style of Babylon 5, but it was made as a stamd alone series for viewers who might not have seen the original series. Consequently, the plot is not as complex and intellectual as you might expect it to be. There is a reference to Plato's 'theory of forms' that claims for everything there exists an absolutely perfect archetype. The commander says, "According to the theory of forms, an absolutely perfect idiot on which all idiots are based must exist somewhere". This line sums up the philosophy of the series, which is probably why it was cancelled!
