The real-time strategy spinoff of Microsoft's popular shooter series returns with a formidable new enemy and a new multiplayer mode in Halo Wars 2. The game takes place after the events of Halo 5: Guardians, with the crew of the <i>Spirit of Fire</i> waking from cryosleep at a massive alien installation known as The Ark, where they encounter the violent mercenary Atriox and his Banished army. The action once again focuses more on strategy and combat than resource collection and construction, with gamers using a bird's-eye view to maneuver familiar vehicles, infantry, and aircraft.<br><br>The main campaign spans more than a dozen missions and finds players going on a solo or co-op adventure as members of the United Nations Space Command. Halo Wars 2 offers a Skirmish mode for gamers to compete on any map against friends or the AI, while the Strongholds mode is a competition to acquire the most bases before time expires. The Deathmatch and Domination modes offer traditional RTS action, with players building their base, growing their army, and either battling for control of the map or striving to be the last player alive. The new Blitz mode adds a card-collecting mechanic to the multiplayer action, with battlefield units represented on cards that gamers earn in other modes.<br><br>This Ultimate edition offers access to the full game four days early and includes a season pass download code as well as a download code for Halo Wars: Definitive Edition.

    Great game and value

    This is a great package for Xbox owners. I have a Series X and this is an awesome part of my Halo Collection. You get Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition and Halo Wars Definitive Edition included!

    Best price I was able to find.

    This was the best price I found on this game. I was a little worried at first it was used. But it was new in shrink wrap. Plus the code to get halo wars hd worked. Very happy I didn't pay 54$ at GameStop for the same game.
