An expanded version of the coin-op game Final Lap, Final Lap Twin for the TurboGrafx-16 lets you change gears, cruise around hairpin turns and S-curves, negotiate through zigzags, and burn rubber down straight-aways from the comfort of your home.<br><br>There are eight types of cars (F-1s and F3000s) available, each having either manual or standard transmission and a V8 or V10 engine. In F-1 GP mode, available engine sizes are V10 and V12. You can race by yourself in test mode or against the computer in Grand Prix Mode. The F3000 GP option lets you compete in eight races while F-1 GP consists of 16 races. Your goal is to be among the top six finishers in each race. There are 20 racecourse circuits in all.<br><br>Several two-player modes (similar in format to the one-player games) are available in which you and a friend compete for rank via split-screen action. This requires the use of a TurboTap and, of course, another controller, both of which are sold separately.<br><br>The aforementioned expanded part of the game is the Quest Mode, which is a Baby Four Wheel Drive race with a password feature for saving your progress. Here you will pit your driving skills and use your role-playing techniques against Four-Wheel-Drive Warriors from around the world. <br><br>Prior to racing, you will undertake a training mission in which you will do things such as gather information from townspeople and collect power-ups for use in upcoming races. When you do win a race, you will earn money that can be used to upgrade the body, battery, tires, motor, and wing of your four-wheel-drive. Surprisingly good!

Making up for missed Fun
