Dire Straits: Making Movies - Making Great Music!!!!
Mark Knopfler is without a doubt one of the best guitarists of all time. I would certainly recommend this and any music by Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler individually. If you are lucky enough to be a fan of the band, do yourself a huge favor and search for Mr. Knopfler's solo albums and his collaborative albums with great artists like Emmy Lou Harris and Chet Atkins. I enjoy them all and recommend them to anyone. Like some other really great artists, like Pink Floyd, Leon Russell and others, it just seems like they didn't produce enough music to satisfy their fans. Mark Knopfler's unique style and great lyrics added together with the other artists in the Dire Straits Band and his collaborative works will be studied and enjoyed by people for untold generations.
