A new and exciting perspective on war from the POV of a tank squad. Youngblood learns what war really means.
Legendary actors in one tank. It's less about the action and more about the relationship of their squad, specifically the new young guy. The MOST dynamic character, he goes from timid to THE MACHINE. I bought this movie for a reason!

This was an outstanding movie of this subject of war. It is like being right there with the men as they fought. I loved that there were Special Features which explained more about how they made the movie - just fascinating.

Great attention to detail
I was assigned to the 70th Armor in Germany in 1967 and spent a lot of time at Fort Knox training to be a Tank Platoon leader. It is refreshing to watch a movie that did its homework and no doubt had WWll vets helping them. Life inside a tank is very close and the action is fast and no pun intended furious. The even used the M3 submachine gun which we called grease gun. It was small and we had 2 of them in our tank + all 4 of us carried a 45 cal pistol in shoulder holsters. Lots of bad things can happen when you turn the turret so you don’t need holsters to get stuck. The only Hollywood moment was Brad Pitt using the fifty cal machine gun at the end of the movie. He shot about 250 to 300 rounds without reloading. The ammo box on his tank was 100 rounds. Nevertheless the movie showed the horrors of war in a realistic manner.

great movie, amazing action, great picture quality
i was very satisfied with this movie. It had amazing picture quality and realistic sound. The action scenes were amazing with crisp details. For example: you could actually see moving parts on guns when they fired them and tiny fragments from explosions. just great

Masterpiece
What a great movie. Highly accurate. Actual tanks involved. The special features are a must! Yes that really was a real Tiger tank. All actors do so well at portraying their characters that you really feel for them. Very, Very, Good.

Enjoyable
I had my doubts in the beginning but let me tell you guys, it's one of the best war movie ever. Very well acted and amazing from the beginning to the end.

Great Movie
A really good movie about a tank crew and the dangers that they face, the cast was excellent and the movie moved along at a good pace. Definitely comparable to Saving Private Ryan, would recommend to anyone interested in the war genre type movies. Great, Great movie !!!!

I liked it!
thought the film....was what the war was really like, the scenes, and authentic equipment seem to me be real! An anti-war movie, showing how brutal War is. Cast did a great job acting! It is worth, purchasing!

Not exactly historically correct, but watchable WWII tank action.
Dirty and violent, sort of like armed conflict. Not an uplifting cherry movie, but a reasonable Hollywood depiction of WWII tank warfare.
